Thought Organisation And Starting A New Breed Of Virtual Assistant Services

What does every business need?.. Actually the answer is lots of things – but one of the many things it needs is a USP. A “Unique Selling Point.”

I have considered over the years that I have had this in terms of my brand, and concept, and also the way I work with my clients, but it’s never been enough for me. I wanted a unique service that I could offer my clients, and through the last several years of mapping this out in my brain, and pondering, thinking, experiencing, trying, testing, learning – I have it. I am going to attempt to market my new service of “Thought Organisation” this year in Virtual Miss Friday.

I aim to launch this service in Virtual Miss Friday on beta testing this year, with a few select applicants. I have been training like an athlete about to embark in the Olympics to be able to offer it, and I believe I can offer my clients some amazing results in their business from it. Before I put this on my site as a service, I thought I would share it with my colleagues :-)

The Future.

If it goes well, in the future, I would like to create and develop a kind of online system that would allow clients to delegate to their own VA’s (not just my company) Thought Organisation through a system, so that I could essentially provide the insight into how it all works – not sure how at the moment, maybe via a course online, to be able to successfully implement their own Thought Organisation service. I’m going to have to apply on Dragon’s Den I think to get the Online App funding!

So why “Thought Organisation?”

Well, the benefits of this service could potentially be far superior to the client, than them coming to their virtual assistant with ideas or tasks. At the end of the day there are loads of “Task Driven” assistants out there – but very few “Thought Driven” ones. It’s going to take a certain type of very capable and open-minded individual to be able to coordinate a service like this for clients. The client – instead of giving you the tasks, would instead convey their thoughts, through a variety of methods, by which the assistant would then organise those thoughts, ideas, tasks, and in a sense “predict” what the client may need based on their overall thought patterns and direction. The client saves mass amounts of time, by the VA coming to them basically telling them what needs to be done. The VA is able to secure business in a way that has previously been unheard of.

I know it will work. I know it.

I have finished the copy for my webpage which will be introduced to my clients at the time I open the service up to applicants on the beta testing. I of course would love to know what you think in a comment, but for now, here is what I am calling a new breed of Virtual Assistant Service – “Thought Organisation.”

My Webpage Copy – Preview.

“Thought Organisation” is behind the formed ‘Idea’ that you would then normally delegate to your service providers or virtual assistants, and it starts the process of support, right at the Thought.

A random ‘Thought’ is far less developed than an ‘Idea,’ but can lose any potential impact it may have had on the bigger picture when overshadowed by a more complex Idea. Because of this, the thought may then simply be lost, when it could have been a vital part to the success of an Idea – a part that could have accelerated the success of the Idea.

This is where Thought Organisation comes in.

A completely unique and cutting-edge design of service for capturing, organising and implementing your thought patterns so your life and business achieve optimal performance.

Do you know how many thoughts the average human brain has in a day? According to UCLA Laboratory of Neuro Imaging there are around 70,000 thoughts per day generated. Now if you tag on the fact that you might be an entrepreneur, a thought leader or just a really impossibly busy business owner, I think you could easily tag on several thousand more thoughts per day.

So what do you do with those all important thoughts that you don’t want to be lost in amongst the less important ones? This is a problem I have faced in the past. My ideas and things I want to do have shaped my business into what it is now – but – I can’t begin to imagine how many times I have got lost in my thoughts, and most likely let the really good ones slip away. I often consider to myself had I captured those thoughts, where would my business be now? Further developed and progressed than I could’ve ever imagined.

So, after careful consideration of how I could accelerate my online business by capturing and organising those thoughts, so they went from thoughts to ideas to projects to tasks to product and then to results, this has had a phenomenal impact on my life and business to the point where I can bring about a more complete thought pattern throughout my day, capture everything I need, and then speed up progress, and achieve a faster result because of it. I call this “Thought Organisation.” I use Thought Organisation in my daily life. Every thought becomes sorted and categorised into a project, task or process and is dealt with efficiently.

My Thought Organisation skills are teamed with my immeasurable dedication to researching online tools, systems, processing and services that could help me collaborate and assist business owners via the Internet. I have an uncanny knack of being able to simplify and organise anything online, including your thoughts, providing they can be communicated to me through a careful selection of a variety of channels and methods, such as audio, text, SMS, video, Apps, cloud syncing, note applications, list making tools, voice recognition etc… I am positive that I can come up with an easy to use method helping you transfer your thoughts to me, so I can then organise them in a variety of ways that will simplify your work, accelerate your business and enhance your life.

It takes years of experience and practise to be able to optimally learn how to best organise the ideas that you do capture and follow through on, I want to take that to a new level, a higher ground, and help your thoughts to reach peak performance.

If you’re an entrepreneur who is feeling overwhelmed by the number of thoughts, ideas, musing, blog posts, articles, RSS feeds, courses, literature, videos, audios, podcasts etc… The things that are so vital to our progress but we are simply not able to retain in our minds for any length or period of time before the next thought takes over, I can transform your way of handling those, and with my team, we can also assist you with progressing through them to achieve a desired outcome.

How It Works:

1 – You have a consultation with Michelle to find out how your thought patterns are throughout each day and how you currently manage those thoughts.

2 – We work out the optimal solution for transferring your thoughts to Virtual Miss Friday, based on your individual lifestyle and circumstances.

3 – We will then design a way that we can organise and make those thoughts into manageable pieces of segmented, categorised, prioritised information.

Optional:

4 – We can then either proceed to ‘predict’ tasks and implement your thoughts and ideas, or suggest ways in which you could implement those thoughts so they don’t get lost or unused, or forgotten…

So there you have it. This is my service that has been carefully designed and structured to provide a better existence for clients, delegation by thought.

What do you think? Clever or Crazy. Comments below!

Hi Michelle, I love where your mind is going. Creative Thinking is the new business frontier and soloists & SMEs need all the help they can get in the craziness of their day, to capture their ideas and funnel them into workable value-add for their business. It’s like water running through a sieve, if you aren’t quick you’ll miss it.

I’ve just taken on a creative client and am submerged in this creative world which I am SO thankful for as I love this realm. Such a wonderful opportunity from the traditional support required of VAs. The lead generation ideas I’m bringing to his table feel amazing for me. I really feel I’m going to supercharge his business this year and feel PUMPED because of it. He’s excited and in turn my excitement grows and my mind starts brainstorming even more solutions for him.Mind Mapping was something that jumped to mind when reading your blog. Some info here that may be of use on your journey http://appadvice.com/appguides/show/mind-mapping-apps I’m sure you’ve investigated many software solutions being highly interested in that area, but just in case, my contribution to your journey. LOVE the Will Smith video above. THANK YOU for sharing. Janet Kay

Hi Janet! Ahhh thank you so much for commenting, I had a feeling you would like this line of thinking. The story with your client is really awesome, you are rockin’ in your business at the moment! Must be the new lifestyle having a positive effect as well – I know when I am happy where I am at, I am super productive and creative ;)

Love the mind mapping idea, it can certainly be used as a ‘phase’ of the plan, or relaying your prediction to the client of what they need in certain areas of their life, and of course how it can be achieved.

      Will Smith is the Bomb!

What a brilliant idea! I’ve lost count of how many times people have said to me that they have thoughts swirling around but no time to think them through, or no-one who has time to bounce ideas around with them. This’ll be a great service to many businesses/entrepreneurs! I look forward to seeing how this develops for you :-)

Thanks so much for the comment Jackie! I have been toying with it for ages, and usually when an idea lingers that long, I know it must be a good one!  :-)

Hiya! You really hit the nail on the head! I am a consultant offering VA services, and I thought this would make a perfect marriage for one single service combining the two!  :-)

  • http://virtualassistant-live.com/ Michelle Dale

Thanks so much Rosemary, me too, I am curious to give it a decent trial run. You also have to rely on the client to see through their end of the bargain – but if you can both work together as a team, I think this could save a lot of time and also bring about more progress than ever before – time will tell! Appreciate the comment :-)

Hi Rosemary, you are not alone, and whilst mindmapping is very effective, I have always found it a bit tedious, not sure why. I wanted to come up with something so simple and easy to work with online, and found the best way to do it is tailor the solutions of recording thoughts and then delivering predictions to the clients very specifically to the individual. If anything it will be fun, and hopefully productive :)

    Thanks for the comment!

Thanks so much for the comment, I do intend to select the clients carefully, I totally agree. This is not a ‘one size fits all’ kind of service, but for the right individual, who is busy enough as well to really need it, then I think it can work really well.

I am hoping I can deliver excitement through rapid progress :)
